I am a Chrome user. I had no use for the Firefox browser until I found these extensions.
Firebug: Chrome has good element inspection but there are just a few little additions that make Firebug better.
Web Developer toolbar: Great controls for testing
Tilt 3d: the one that got me to try Firefox again in the first place. Wow, it is amazing and only works with Firefox until someone else implements WebGL.
I still default to Chrome but these great tools have made it so Firefox is a development tool again not just another browser to test against.
